- Proper piping configuration

The requirement in the 1999 edition is for a maximum allowable variation for Total Hydrocarbons as Methane and halogenated Hydrocarbons utilizing the nitrogen test gas.
Medical air source systems shall also be limited to 5 PPM (parts per million) Gaseous Hydrocarbons and 2 PPM Halogenated Hydrocarbons.
